Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your office located?

Guided Expression is located at the following address:

9378 Olive Boulevard
Suite 104A
St. Louis, MO 63132

I am on the first floor. You’ll see a comfortable waiting room when you walk in.

Is parking accessible?
There is ample parking right in front of the building… and it’s free!
What are your hours?

I generally work Monday through Thursday, starting at 9:30 AM.

I try to end around 5:00 PM for dinner with my family, but exceptions can be considered.

How do I schedule an appointment or consultation?

Please call (314) 384-4488 for a free consultation or to schedule an appointment.

You can also schedule your appointment online.

How long are your sessions?

A regular session is 45 minutes, but I also offer 60- and 75-minute sessions.

On occasion, when there is deep work being done or someone is interested in psychedelic integration, sessions may run longer.

How much do you charge?

A 45-minute session is $180.

To discuss a longer session, please contact me for individual prices.

Do you take insurance?

No, because you won’t get the best care when insurance companies are in charge.

But feel free to ask for a “Superbill” to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement from an out-of-network provider.

What is your cancellation policy?

I require 48 hours’ notice for all cancellations; otherwise, the full fee will be charged. This allows me the flexibility to book other clients who may be waiting for a session.

I understand life happens, so please be open and honest about your specific situation. I’ll consider waiving the charge on a case-by-case basis.

Who do you primarily work with?
I work primarily with male and female adults (18 and up).
What do you do in sessions with clients?

I pride myself on creating a safe, empathetic, and personable environment for each client who walks through my door.

My primary role in a session is to be a compassionate guide for you to better understand yourself. It’s usually a very reflective and curious experience where you’ll explore the depths of your thoughts and beliefs.

Patterns often emerge that lead to deeper insights and questions about the self, opening the door for further exploration after the session.

Will I have work to do between sessions?

Our sessions are meant to elicit deeper insight about yourself. I find that reflecting on those insights greatly enhances our overall work together.

I call this the “session between the sessions,” and I’ll always encourage you to take advantage of this time.

How can I make the most out of working with you?

One of my closest mentors relayed a quote that’s always stuck with me: “The client is the one that is meant to put in the work.”

The clients who take this process seriously and put in the work to invest in themselves are typically my greatest success stories. That means consistently showing up for sessions, looking honestly at the “less savory aspects,” and remaining open to whatever self-exploration may bring up.

Does religion play into our work together?

You may have spotted my religious head covering in my pictures. I’ve always considered myself a curious and spiritual person seeking answers in a confusing world. Eight years ago, I made a big life decision to become an observant Jew.

I have my personal beliefs, but they’ll never affect my work with you (I take pride in that). That said, one of my favorite aspects of the therapeutic journey is to deepen the process spiritually and mystically. Wherever you find yourself, I highly respect what you believe, and I look forward to exploring how that is personally meaningful to you.
